Having spent 17 years as owner and MD of Data HQ Ltd his remit covers the whole of the management spectrum including; strategy development, organisational structure, company policy & procedure and product development.
Data HQ are celebrating 15 years of helping clients with their data marketing needs. The company has come along way since its conception back in 2001 and is proud to have developed from a highly respected mailing list supplier to a full service data marketing agency helping clients such as New Covent Garden Soups, St Johns Ambulance and Papa John’s.
Tim Holt, Data HQ’s Founder and Managing Director talks candidly about the company’s evolution;
‘I look back with pride at how the company has evolved. As marketers have become more data literate, their demand for more strategic solutions has grown. Over the last six or seven years there has also been a clear shift in focus from customer acquisition to retention. Big data and new technologies such as Marketing Automation have emerged and coming from a technical background, the team and I have always been a bit ‘geeky’ with data systems and analytics – so it was a natural progression for us to move into this area. List rental for prospecting is still a valuable and important part of our service however, it’s just one element of our overall offering'
As the company reaches its 15 year milestone, product innovation and customer satisfaction is still at its core. Data HQ have grown in size with currently over 30 employees and has relocated to new offices in the centre of Chelmsford. While change continuously happens within the industry, especially with the looming GDPR legislation, the company is ready to take advantage of every opportunity.
